I have had a love for basketball for as long as I can remember and have been coaching for over 10 years. As a native of Washington, D.C., I attended William McKinley Technical Senior High School and played AAU Basketball starting at an early age in Washington D.C.
I am a graduate of Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina where I was a two-time, first team All-Conference selection and received academic all-conference honors three times. At the time, I was also the third leading scorer in school history. I was second on the school’s all-time list for three-pointers made in a career with 267. As a senior, I earned NAIA All-American honorable mention and was named the 1992 Male Student Athlete of the Year. While in college, I also participated in several basketball summer camps working with high school students in the state of South Carolina. I also have a Masters in Business Administration and am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc.
My focus is teaching the fundamentals of basketball and building on each child’s strength. I believe the best players have perfected the basics of the game. Learning and mastering these basics make the rest of the game much easier!
Along with coaching basketball, I love traveling and spending time with family and friends. I live in Lawrenceville with my wife Cindy, son Brandon and daughter Alyssa.
The Storm is coming!!
